Beyond growing in small batches, hand-trimming, and hang-drying everything we produce, we have officially transitioned into crafting only non-irradiated cannabis across all flower and pre-roll options. This shift is more than a production choice – it’s a promise to deliver a more authentic cannabis experience.
WHY GO NON-IRRADIATED?
In the cannabis industry, irradiation is commonly used to kill microbes and extend shelf life. While it is nearly an industry standard and certainly has its benefits, irradiation can alter the natural chemistry of cannabis, diminishing the richness of cannabinoids and the delicate balance of terpenes that define the plant’s aroma, flavour, and effects.
We believe that our cannabis should be experienced at its absolute peak, which is why we’ve improved our production methods to cut out ionized radiation.
