Job Posting - Packaging Associate

GREENSEAL CANNABIS COMPANY LTD. is GROWING and currently seeking Packaging Associates to join our team. 

 

GREENSEAL CANNABIS CO. is a licensed producer of cannabis, operating out of a 28,000 square foot purpose-built facility in Stratford, Ontario. GreenSeal’s focus is on developing a premium quality medical grade product through its innovative growing methods, technology, breeding practices, and partnerships.  We are currently operating a lean facility as we scale up and focus on exceptional production practices in this challenging, yet exciting, Canadian cannabis industry.

 

Reporting to the Packaging Team Lead, the Packaging Associates will work with the Packaging Team Lead, and the entire Packaging Team, in accurately weighing, assembling, and packaging retail products all while maintaining a safe, clean and healthy work environment. 

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Packaging Associates duties include, but are not limited to;

  • Package and label different cannabis products including pre-rolls and whole flower
  • Perform weighing, sealing, capping, labelling and general packaging of product
  • Working closely with other team members
  • Set-up, operate and monitor packaging equipment and rooms in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions
  • Clean and sanitize material, equipment and rooms in compliance with SOPs and Work Instructions as well as consistently maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary workstation and environment
  • Maintain communication with other team members and the Packaging Team Lead Hand to notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of packaging
  • Utilize a continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
  • Fill batch record documentation in a complete, compliant and accurate fashion
  • Perform all duties according to SOP, Work Instructions, GMP, and all other established safety standards and company policy
  • Assist with other cannabis operations as required
  • Correct use of scales and understanding when a scale is not accurate
  • Able to accurately weigh whole flower and pre-rolls
  • Ability to document every batch, as well as the inventories related to the production including raw materials and cannabis

 

 

Experience and Background:

Minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the job;

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GDP preferred
  • Must be 19 years old and able to pass a criminal record check
  • Able to perform simple math including add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Physically able to stand or sit for long periods of time and have exceptional hand/eye coordination
  • Physically able to perform occasional lifting, bending and twisting as well as the consistent maintenance of a clean workstation
  • Comfortable with repetitive work including detail-oriented tasks
  • Previous cannabis experience is a plus
  • Must have effective verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Must have a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to use fine motor skills
  • Adhere to legislation in accordance with the Cannabis Regulations
  • Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety regulations
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and strong record-keeping skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to comprehend detailed instructions
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Ability to maintain an extremely sanitary workspace

Job Posting - Production Associate/Trimmer

GREENSEAL CANNABIS CO. is a licensed producer of cannabis, operating out of a 28,000 square foot purpose-built facility in Stratford, Ontario. GREENSEAL’S focus is on developing a premium quality medical grade product through its innovative growing methods, technology, breeding practices, and partnerships.

The Production Associate/Trimmer is a member of the Cultivation Team that aids in the co-ordination of all the daily activities in the production facility. We are looking to add high energy individuals who are ambitious and dedicated to a common goal.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily care and maintenance of plants including cloning, potting, pruning, watering, harvesting, hand trimming, etc.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sterility at all times.
  • Harvest, sterilize, and re-populate rooms efficiently, while adhering to procedures and predetermined timelines
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) related to daily work activities to maintain compliance with regulations
  • Aid in keeping appropriate records and logs as required
  • Maintain suitable care of tools, equipment, and production facility as a whole
  • Support Quality Assurance and the Master Grower as required
  • Work cohesively in a group, or independently, as needed
  • Some daily overtime may be required
  • Weekend work is rare, but could be required
  • Other duties as assigned and as needed for company success
  • Assisting other departments as needed

Experience and Background:

  • Must have exceptional attention to detail
  • Must be able to carry out often repetitive, physical tasks (able to lift at least 50 lbs. repetitively.) at a continuously high level of quality
  • Exceptional attendance is a MUST
  • Experience with top notch sanitation and cleanliness practices
  • A positive attitude
  • Scissor lift experience and certification is an asset
  • Ability to remain flexible to changing work schedules and varying tasks, as required
  • Knowledge and experience of indoor cannabis cultivation is a definite asset

Job Posting - Graphic Designer

Atlas Global Brands Inc. is seeking an experienced, reliable, self-starter who will be responsible for maintaining and executing marketing campaigns and sales related assets for the organization. Marketing responsibilities include package designs, digital marketing, social media, website maintenance, trade communication tools, press releases, presentations, experiential activations, etc. This individual will also oversee photography, video and digital content creation and work directly with different levels of the organization to further develop and maintain brand identity. The Graphic Designer must also be able to research, self-educate and apply Canadian cannabis marketing regulations as needed. Will be expected to work out of either the Chatham or Stratford facilities as a hybrid work setting.

Reports to: Senior Manager, Marketing

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization

Role and Responsibilities

Marketing

  • Work collaboratively with the internal team, as well as external partners on digital media programs and initiatives 
  • Have a clear understanding of the business operations and regulatory responsibilities
  • Measure and report performance of digital marketing and assess against goals 
  • Work with senior management and a diverse cross-functional team. Employ professional and clear communication practices to maintain a positive and progressive atmosphere across marketing, sales, and customer service departments.
  • Knowledgeable in the Cannabis Act and its regulations, assisting in ensuring Atlas Global Brands Inc and its subsidiaries adheres to all marketing and advertising rules as set by Health Canada, which provide guidance for product marketing plans, compliance, impact on product launches and client retention; particularly the sections relating to Advertising and Promotion.
  • Coordinating go-to market marketing education materials by facilitating stakeholder reviews, working with vendors, managing the process to final material completion
  • Add value by maintaining cohesive brands; you may work on different brands at a time and ensure the consistency and standardization of the voice and content
  • Review proofs for advertising and promotional materials/resources, including website, print media, events, and trade show materials.
  • Identify and suggest new digital marketing strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness and positive customer experiences  

Graphic Design

  • Maintain the company website, including implementing content strategies and updates as required 
  • Create graphic design elements as required, including marketing decks, sell sheets, etc. 
  • Where necessary play a role in coordinating product packaging assisting with the development of artwork and the management of the printing process.
  • Analyze needs and problems to develop visual solutions
  • Advise on creative strategies and approaches to deliver on business objectives
  • Determine the message the design should portray
  • Develop impactful images/graphics/designs/branding that identify a product or convey a message
  • Understand and utilize the colours, images, fonts, and layout formats that align with brands objectives and other integrated communications
  • Prepare specifications and estimate costs when needed
  • Provide creative recommendations, rationalizations, and thinking
  • Implement creative changes, revisions and updates
  • Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them

Social Media 

  • Manage all company social media accounts in an integrated and consistent fashion across all platforms, including customer interaction and comments 
  • Generate reports on efforts on social media campaigns and produce required KPI’s

Qualifications

Required

  • Post Secondary education with a focus on marketing, graphic design or other related areas
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of related graphic design or marketing experience
  • Proficiency in industry standard software, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office, including the ability to utilize different social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter as well as social media management softwares or plugins
  • Understanding of the fundamental HTML5 and CSS languages for website development is considered an asset
  • Other web-based languages to make fully function campaigns and improvements to websites is considered an asset
